Thank you for your interest in our parish. Whether you’re just visiting us for a brief time, looking for a new parish home, are returning to the practice of your Catholic faith or are here for a funeral, wedding or other event, we welcome you!
Here at Sacred Heart Parish we are more than a building, but we know that practical details are important. The parish offices are located on the east side of the building off Madison Street, as is one of the main entrances to the Church and Faith Formation Classrooms.
There is convenient parking available off of Madison Street, as well as, street parking on Fremont, Monroe and Harrison Streets. There is a hallway that connects the church and the offices.
One of the cities main hospitals, St. Elizabeth, is across Fremont St. on the south side of the building.

Sometimes Catholics in the past have stopped attending mass due to uncertainties about their status because of divorce or remarriage. Sometimes, they have left because they were hurting from the way they felt they were treated by church personnel or maybe they never saw the importance of church before.
Sacred Heart Parish is a welcoming people, nourished by the Eucharist, inspired by the word of God,
engaged in lifelong learning, with outreach to the poor.
A Catholic parish is the single most important part of our Catholic Church. This is where we continue the mission of Jesus Christ. This is where we publicly express our faith, joining together with others to give witness of our communion with God and with one another.
