I grew up on a family dairy farm 1 mile south of Hollandtown (12 miles east of Appleton). I am the 2nd oldest of 9 children in a family of 8 boys and 1 girl. I attended school at St. Francis Parish Hollandtown, high school and 2 years of college at Sacred Heart Seminary in Oneida, WI, and completed college at UW-Madison with a Math major. I am retired after working for 37 years at Neenah Printing/Menasha Corp. My wife, Sis, and I have been members of Sacred Heart Parish for 39 years. We have 5 children and 11 grandchildren, most of whom live in the Fox Valley area. I have been ordained a deacon for 18 years. During those 18 years I have been assigned to Sacred Heart Parish and during the last 5 years, I was also assigned to Saint Bernadette Parish. Currently at Sacred Heart, I am the liturgy coordinator, a member of the New Evangelization Committee, and involved in various ministries as a deacon at the parish. My wife and I enjoy traveling and I also have enjoyed mission trips to the diocesan mission parish, St. Teresa Parish in Elías Piña, Dominican Republic.
